LLND stands for Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills. It covers the ability to read, write, use numbers and work with digital tools and technology. We check these skills to make sure you’re ready for your course and to support you if you need extra help.
Under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) Standards for RTOs 2025, all RTOs must assess prospective students’ LLND skills before enrolment. See ASQA guidance here: Standards for RTOs 2025. This means the LLND assessment is a required step — it is not optional.
You will be asked to complete a short LLND assessment after payment. The assessment identifies your current skills. If the assessment shows you would benefit from additional support, we’ll work with you to provide it so you can succeed in your course. The assessment outcome does not prevent you from enrolling; it ensures you enter the right course and receive the support you need.
